Women’s Sports & Fitness Foundation Malaysia in Collaboration
with University Kebangsaan Malaysia in STICK2STIX™ Aerobics Workshop
at University Kebangsaan Malaysia Campus
Women’s Sports & Fitness Foundation Malaysia in collaboration with University Kebangsaan Malaysia organized a STICK2STIX™ aerobics program for the staff of the university with the objective of encouraging and increasing people’s willingness to exercise several times a week to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The program highlighted the health benefits obtained from aerobics exercise in helping to regulate weight and also limit the chances of developing frequent illnesses and diseases. The STICK2STIX™ aerobics is easy to follow and cost-effective to maintain.
The 100 participants comprised mainly lecturers, professors, doctors and others.
The program comprised 6 modules namely:
Module 1 - Introduction and guidelines STICK2STIX™
Module 2 - The different phases, positions and steps STICK2STIX™
Module 3 - Warm up exercises and cardio workout
Module 4 - Practical aerobics for muscle conditioning and balancing
Module 5 - Group practice
Module 6 - Performance by the groups - competition and evaluation
The Vice Chancellor of UKM , Ybhg. Prof. Ir. Dr Othman A Karim graciously gave away the certificates to each participant and the prizes to the 3 groups with the best performances.
